I brought my wormery inside a month ago and as I'm a bit of an insomniac I occasionally peek in during the night to see what's happening in their world.
I was really surprised to see masses of them up in the roof and equally as many in the sump. Didn't know quite what to make of this the first time and thought I'd leave it and sort them in the morning. Now I realize though that this is normal, at least for my lot! In the morning there are just a very few in the roof and mostly the very young ones and the same in the sump.
But very happy that their wanderings don't take them further afield though ?

Sorry that made me laugh. You are right they are very active. They don't get the name European nightcrawler for nothing.
The fact that they stay shows that they like their surroundings

European nightcrawler, love that, pretty good description.
If I'd ever have to separate the tigers from the other guests I'd best do it at night then
