Slight change of plan. Once sorting through i was pleasantly surprised that whilst there were quite a few clumps, a fair amount of the bedding had broken down. I removed all the clumps and put them round my black and redcurrant bushes. The rest i left and added the remaining leaf litter i’d collected in September to the tray as insulation. That tray should be perfect for harvesting after winter.
