Apologies about this, a user instead of PM ing (Private Messaging) me, pmd all users, which made the forum crash.
Each time we brought the forum back online, another message was sent out.
I think I have fixed the problem, so that members cannot email or pm anyone else, so will hopefully prevent it happening again.
there are so many different configurations on what users can and can't do that its really confusing.
