Hi

yes you can start feeding - however 20 worms will only eat about 10 grams of food each day, so you really do need to buy some more.
They wont take long to start breeding, but you really need to start with more than 20 !!

When you start feeding ensure you only put small amounts of food in - else the worms will be overwhelmed, and the food will start to rot, smell and eventually poison the worms.

Mix some paper/cardboard into the compost thats already there

Good Luck !!

Hi
Please don't worry if the food gets mouldy as it needs to break down and soften before the worms can eat it.

It has also been a very long and cold winter the worms haven't been very lively at all, their breeding and eating rates have been affected due to the cold weather.

Now that spring is here :!: :!::!: everything should get going and produce better results !!
