Can I rebuild my wormery?

Is it possible to start the wormery off again with new coir and food etc with the same worms?
My worms are continually migrating to the bottom tray so maybe thinking the recent temperatures may have created a slightly unfriendly/toxic atmosphere within the wormery (wormery approx 3/4 months old)

you can yes - however why don't you add a barrier in the bottom of the lower tray

If your bin is three or four month old then your worm population should have doubled in number, given good conditions. In that case your herd may be looking for more space and are exploring down in the sump. You could try adding another tray with a good two inches of bedding in it (I like shredded corrugated cardboard) only feed in the new top tray and they may settle down.
