Water for new farm

Post by Steve020cap » Wed Aug 01, 2018 8:25 am

Expecting farm delivery tomorrow and need to clarify the water to use. Tap water not recommend and to use rain water. Unfortunately we have no rainwater with none expected for the foreseeable future. So, to be on the safe side and set up properly, which water can I safely use.

Great, thanks for reply and info. True, no clouds on the horizon for quite a time. If and when it does rain, is rainwater preferable? Sometimes I think too much can be read into a subject, complicating matters but I do want to do this properly.

Yes rainwater is preferable as it doesn't contain the 'metals' that tap water has, however, I don't think anyone has had a problem (due to how much rain we usually get in the UK)
