Blue and white eggs

Hi

These small blue and white eggs have appeared in our wormery. Could they be worm egg sacs or something more sinister

They don't seem to have any slime on them and pop when squeezed

They look like small balls of slow release fertiliser and water retaining granules that you get in bags of shop bought compost.
Could it be that?

Some indication of size would be helpful. Could you put a match dy them and take another photo

Thanks for your reply. No shop brought fertiliser has been near the wormery so I doubt it's that. I'm really stumped about them

They are about the size of a matchhead. I hope that helps.

I haven't ever seen anything like that before, tiny seed potatoes sprung to mind - but not blue ones.
I don't know if it's animal or vegetable based
I've googled and nothing comes up

Hi. If they are the size of a match head that’s a bit big for worm cocoon. My thought, like Ronnie, was tiny seed potatoes maybe got into you bin with other veg waste. The blue balls look very much like fertiliser pellet found in some potting compost. Is it possible that an item of veg had some soil/compost on it when you fed it to your worms. I use old potting compost as bedding sometimes so often see blue balls in my bin lol. The main thing is are your worms fit and well? If so just monitor them. Many strange things end up in worm bins and often people don’t know how they got there.
