Thought I’d provide an update on my worm journey, particularly to show that patience seems t9 be the way to go.
After coming up to three months, my worms seem to be thriving. I’m still only feeding them occasionally, checking to see if there’s much left before adding some more.
I’d like to ask a couple of questions if I may:
1. If I add a layer of old carpet as suggested, does it matter which way up? I’m assuming it’d be better if the actual carpet is at the top rather than the bottom.
2. Do I need to feed the worms occasionally with a handful of the worm food that was supplied originally or do they now get all the nutrients they need from the scraps etc I provide?
Thanks.
