Thanks for your comments.

Yes set up another layer - you will find that the more layers you have the more you will compost, as the worms breed to the space given
more layers = more worms.

Worms go into semi-hibernation in the winter, they don't breed or eat as fast, so a garage - shed etc is the best place for them.

with reference to the liquid - the more 'wet' products you put in - the more you will get out.

If you only ever put paper in - it would take forever to get liquid, however putting high water content fruits and veggies like tomatoes and cucumbers, would mean more juice.

Worms like shredded paper, and it will be eaten eventually - it gives the wormery the brown - green balance (carbon - nitrogen)
