thanks for the info

i guess the only real way to measure how much it changes the ph would be to get a meter.

i will have to try and find out the difference in amounts of calcium carbonate, between the eggshells and the limescale....

Thanks for the info....
Worms generally don't like too much salt - but as salt is found in most environments small amounts will be fine
