Established wormery but little result

Have you tried putting some of the vermicompost into the top tray, to encourage the worms to move upwards into familier surroundings, quite often if the worms have food, and like the place where they are - they often stay put and need coaxing upwards.

plants often grow in a wormery, the conditions are perfect for seeds !! and the amount of liquid produced is dependant on whats goes in

however it is odd that your worms dont seem to be eating much, with the amount of worms and all trays going they should be consuming a fair amount each week ?

That is a small amount...
the baby worms you mentioned - they are definatly babies - and not pot worms? and can you estimate how many adults you have.... if you had a kilo of worms they should be able to eat upwards a kilo of food per week depending on season etc, so they really not eating enough.

Have you tried adding a load of food in a thin layer and see if that goes down as quickly ?

start to build up slowly, if the food starts to rot and smell, then stop feeding as much, dont forget to keep adding paper and cardboard to keep the balence
