worm eggs

Post by blademart » Thu Nov 05, 2015 5:49 pm

hi just got my wormery about month ago and i struggled to keep my worms in the tray  but trial and error i think i sorted it  and now i have a lively wormery with a very active set of worms don't know what i did.. and today after leaving it for a few days decided  to have a look and hey presto hundreds of worms all happily feeding not one absconded lol .. i also found quite a few yellow little balls which i assume are worm eggs  but i was led to believe worm eggs are lemon in shape ?.some are yellow (lemon coloured some are darker in colour brownish) are they worm eggs or some other allien invader... cheers all

Hi Welcome. Congratulations on your forth coming birthing event. The yellow balls are worm eggs, the eggs get darker the nearer to hatching they get. Each egg will hold on average three worms so your herd will start to grow fast now.

Well done what a great start.
