Hi
Usually ants like dry conditions and generally move out if the wormery is too wet.
Its best to ensure that they hadn't made a nest as the ants will take the worm eggs.
A couple of tips.....
1) smear vasaline around the sump so that the ants cant climb into the wormery
2) Ive heard cinamon/ paprika sprinkled in a wormery repels the ants (though never used this ourselves)

The queen is a huge ant - and you would probably notice if she had moved in as she would make a nest.

The ants are attracted to the food - so try the vaseline or stand the legs in water to prevent the ants getting into the wormery in the 1st place
