Difficult one - normally babies hatch when the conditions are favourable for their survival, therefore if you have babies it shows that the wormery has the correct conditions.
If your adult worms have died / dying this does not mean your babies will, they will adapt to the environment they are born into.
This is why worms have been around for so many millions of years, as they are so adaptable to changes around them.
Why would your babies leave .....
Not sure, have you had any fluctuations in weather ? - feeding them anything different ? changes in moisture ?
