each tray takes approx 3 months to compost depending on the season

Hi
you can mix paper into the compost - but always make sure that a layer of it is on top as well, this will keep any flies from getting to the food
Leave the lid in place, the wormery should be damp - worms breathe through their skin - so therefore need the moisture.
If its too dry use a mister bottle to dampen it down.
The smaller your veggies are - the quicker they will break down, as cutting them small increases the overall surface area.
