This morning my gang were fed .. cauliflower leaf, carrot peelings, spinach leafs, a flower head, coffee grounds, a bit of garden mint, unwanted tomato shoots
peanut shells (ground to a powder) and a sad apple, all minced in my meat grinder.

Hi Pete, your grinder is a great worming tool. After going through the grinder much more of the surface area of the food will be expose which means the microbes and bacteria can get on with their part in the composting proceess. A little mould is no big problem but dont let it get out of hand. If y...

In G. Pilkintons book he states when you lift the lid and there are worms on the top its time to feel. if no worms then dont feed.
