Jay do not block the mesh of the second tray in anyway. It is important the worms can move between trays but not to the sump.

Hi Jay, you have done nothing wrong. Some worms seem to like living in the sump for some reason. Most of us block their path to the sump. Firstly get the strong person back. Remove your bottom tray and put the contents into a bucket. Now cut a piece of material to fit the bottom of the tray exactly,...

In the summer months I keep my worms outside, on a north facing wall beside the house. In winter I move them into a cold green house with a cover of bubble wrap over them. In winter they eat a lot less and reproduction almost stops but they seem fit and well when the weather warms up a bit. TIP red...

Today I fed my worms a Jamaican patie with a little salad, both were given to me by a friend to eat on my journey home but I could not manage the last one. Your worms will survive for about a month between feeds however you need to feed them sometimes!! Don't be shy 8) tell us what gastronomic delight you have served your worms today.

It looks like this forum is dead and decaying. If it was ever alive we could try feeding it to our worms, they say if something once lived it can be used for worm food.
