This morning my herd breakfasted on some strange looking multi coloured rice, a poppabom and a piece of nan bread, all of which were left from last nights Indian takeaway. Hi elleyfant also it is recommended if you shred envelopes to remove the glued portion as this sticks to and clogs the shredding mechanism.elleyfant wrote: This is good to know! I am all set to buy one to use.

Hi all something I have just found out, if you regularly oil your paper shredder blades, as we all do no doubt?! the oil recommended by shredder manufacturers is mineral based and toxic to our herds. Perhaps only small amounts can be transferred to the shredded paper but it could explain why we exp...

My herd had, shredded celery,diced sweet peppers, fine copped little gem lettuce topped off with coffee grounds and cross cut cardboard.. all doing fine and thriving even with this unseasonal weather'

I followed Willy Worms advice on feeding further down this forum and found the egg sized amount in one corner day one, same for the opposite corner next day and so on if one corner not touch or part eaten leave for a day or so, remember to cover the food with the bedding or damp shredded paper.
