Worm free compost
I need the compost for inside plant pots and would prefer not to have worms inside. Have now harvested 5 trays of Compost and started more trays with the worms. I sorted most of the worms from the compost and transferred them, also as many cocoons as I could find. I purchase a cheap second hand Chi...

RE: New wormery leaking?
I would suggest you ensure there is good flat contact between surfaces after drilling.
Also supply an extra washer (I was unable to find one of that size?)
Include instructions re use of a cord threaded through washer/ sump hole
to pull it into place.

RE: No Worm Cocoons?
Yes I returned as many cocoons as possible.
I have other trays getting close to harvest. What is the best way of storing Compost?
The first batch I dried, but thought afterwards perhaps not advisable?
Do cocoons survive drying?

RE: New wormery leaking?
The washer was added between the the two layers, not on the outside, (tap). You can do this by threading it on a piece of string and pulling it into place before pushing the tap through. Now sealed after some work on the holes, which were very roughly drilled! The cheap Chinese wormery that I recent...

They love fresh tomato plant. Pinched out side shoots and any cut off leaves.
Soon these were covered and devoured very quickly, They will be in for a real treat
at the end of the season.

RE: No Worm Cocoons?
The worms seem healthy and the Bedding is fine.
My thought were that the worms would breed if there was more space and food.
I do feed them Wheat Bran which they love.
What happens to cocoons if they get buried due to disturbance of bedding? Do they still hatch,
